There are washroom facilities, showers, and washing-up sinks available on site to keep things comfortable throughout your stay. While it’s not a luxury resort setup, it provides everything you need for a comfortable camping experience.
Yes.
Children are very welcome and often play a big part in the experience.
We’ve had families of all ages take part, from very young children through to teenagers. Every child is different - some join in fully, others prefer to explore and take things at their own pace.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times, but the environment is relaxed and family-friendly throughout.

We run in all typical UK summer weather, including rain.
The camp takes place in the summer months, and we’ve been lucky to have had some really good weather so far — as you can see in the photos.
If the weather does change, we simply adapt what we’re doing so everyone stays comfortable and safe, but the experience still goes ahead.
Just come prepared for outdoor conditions and you’ll be fine.
Yes.
People set up in all sorts of ways, depending on what feels comfortable for them — including hammocks, tents, and more simple camping setups.
Our youngest camper to spend the whole weekend in a hammock was just 11 years old, and absolutely loved it.
As long as everything is safe and suitable for outdoor conditions, people are free to set up in a way that works for them. Every setup is part of the experience.
There’s no upper age limit.
We’ve been lucky to welcome a real mix of ages — from a 1-year-old experiencing their first outdoor stay, through to people in their 70s and 80s taking part at their own pace.
We’ve welcomed families of all ages, and each person brings something different to the experience, which is something we genuinely value. Some join in fully, others prefer a slower, more relaxed rhythm — both are completely fine.
The focus is always the same: comfort, confidence, and doing what feels right for you in nature.
The campsite is located in the Rushcliffe area of Nottinghamshire.
We share the exact location around a week before your stay, once bookings are confirmed. This helps us keep the experience calm, controlled, and private for everyone attending.
If you need to check anything before then, you’re always welcome to contact the organiser directly — especially if it’s important for your journey.
The site is also accessible via bus routes from Nottingham city centre, and we’ve had guests travel in light using public transport without any issues.
Yes.
Camper vans are welcome on site.
However, please note this is a simple off-grid style camping experience, so there is no electric hook-up or powered facilities for vehicles.
Whether you’re in a tent or a camper van, the experience remains the same - a relaxed outdoor setting with shared activities and time to enjoy nature.
If you’re unsure about anything, you’re always welcome to get in touch before booking.
